Elise Foundation

Creative Director, Brand & Storytelling

  • LocationParis, or remote
  • LanguageEnglish required. French welcome but not essential
  • EngagementFreelance, with potential to grow into a permanent role

About the role

The Elise Foundation is dedicated to the arts, nature conservation and humanitarian work. We are looking for a Creative Director to shape how the Foundation is experienced publicly - our editorial voice, visual identity and long-term narrative.

Much of the family's history has never been documented publicly, and we see an opportunity to share it, alongside our current work, with care and beauty. You will need outstanding editorial judgement and visual taste, and the instinct to find the story worth telling and the best way to tell it.

What you will do

  • Develop the Foundation's visual identity and editorial voice.
  • Uncover and tell stories from across the family's history and current work.
  • Plan and commission creative campaigns, films and editorial features.
  • Curate the Foundation's Instagram and other digital channels.
  • Work with photographers, filmmakers, designers and writers, and hold their output to a high standard.

Working with us

This role starts as freelance, with room to grow into a permanent position as the Foundation grows. We care about the quality of the thinking more than time spent at a desk, and the role can be done remotely - though we are based in Paris, and welcome candidates from editorial, film, museums, design or the arts more broadly.

How to apply

Please write to us with a note on why this work interests you, and examples of what you have made. We read everything that arrives, at info@elise-foundation.org.
