Linderud Gods
A manor estate on the edge of Oslo, in the family for generations, and now run as a museum.
The estate
The manor house was built in 1713 and later enlarged for year-round living, and the garden around it is one of Norway's best-preserved. In 1954 the estate was set up as its own foundation, and it is now run as a museum by Museene i Akershus (MiA), who hold visiting details on their own site.
